I studied Psycho-Pedagogy and got qualified in 2015. Later I went to do other psychology trainings. since 2016, I am a freelancer in well-being in every situation. I certainty believe in inner peace and no matter what I work in social
field.

I encountered TTT in 2016 when I met Trauma tappers from BVES and saw the wonderful techniques they were utilizing. I tried to speak to them after the session and agreed to teach me, since then. I teach other people to teach others and spread it as much as they can.

In TTT I found a complementary skills accordingly to my field. Since it’s very fast,simple and useful for the clients whether in tenfold or individually.

I found this excitedly wonderful since it’s international Network.

My name is Jürgen van Gorkum.
I was born in 1964 in Dongen, the Netherlands, where I still live with my family.

In a nutshell, all my experiences in life, education and expertise, come together in the Egel Group (HedgeHog Group), my company, with which I support people of all ages in literally and figuratively standing firm and resilient. Among other things, we train and coach children, adolescents, adults, students and teachers at schools, healthcare staff, police, army, businesses, managers, refugees and private individuals.

With the body and body language as a starting point, the mammal and the warrior form the base of our psychophysical, elementary approach. We investigate en influence the dynamics of a pack and the pick order that appears when people live and work together. With the HedgeHog Academy we do research en implement the findings in our trainings.

With HedgeHog we meet a lot of people suffering from trauma, tension and stress, due to bad experiences in life. When I first got in touch with TTT, it triggered me right from the start. I believe in a basic physical approach of the symptoms we often struggle with. TTT proved to be a very successful addition to our psychophysical palette and turned out to be a valuable piece of the HedgeHog jigsaw puzzle.

I am an emotional health practitioner using EFT, Aromatherapy and Reflexology and am delighted to add TTT to my tool box. Just what I needed! My clients range in ages from babies to the elderly and I often have several members of the same family. I have been aware for many years now, since working in France, that we are working through layers of trauma that have often been emotional inherited. This work enables us to free ourselves of the pain of the past. Since much of my work is with children and young people as well as teachers I aim to get a team together to take TTT into schools where I find there is a strong need due in part to the education system. I work in english and french.

I’m currently a certified hypnotist through the International Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy. I also
hold certification as a Stress, Anxiety and Worry Hypnotist through the American Board of Medical and Clinical Hypnotherapy. TTT has become a passion for me. The ability to guide and teach the tapping technique has become an important part of my volunteer work.
