Ambika Warrier

A teacher by profession, I also work as a hypnotherapist and a Trauma Tapper.

I learned about TTT during one of the conferences I attended in New Delhi, India. It is an amazing technique and has an added advantage that the person undergoing the therapy doesn´t need to speak about his problem. Also, the entire process does not require more than 30 minutes at the maximum with evident results at the end of the session.

Using TTT, I have been able to help grownups get rid of their emotional baggage and students come out of their anxiety. This has made them more self confident and also have a positive outlook towards life.

I use TTT and hypnosis as a combination and this has helped my clients a lot. I wish to spread this technique as much as possible so that all of us have a chance to get rid of our emotional baggage.

I practise in New Delhi and you can contact me at:

Afghanistan — Saleem Rajabi

KABUL: Trauma Tapper

Trauma Tapper - Saleem Rajabi

Saleem Rajabi

After three decades of civil war in Afghanistan, war victims and ordinary people are facing many kinds of difficulties and problematic situation, as well as they are ignored by Afghan authority completely.

So these kinds of behavior, lack of justices, and negotiation with Taliban secretly, caused the ordinary people become more disappointed and pessimistic to the Government of Afghanistan and peace process.

The AHRDO teems from many deferent international organizations came to gather for the purpose of establishing a new real participatory, nonprofit and non-hierarchical organization in 2009. For creating a safe atmosphere for dialog by arts, and giving opportunity for those who have a unique and creative ideas to share, unfortunately these opportunity were not only taken from them, but they were ignored completely in the society. We believe that the participatory theatre methodology which was found by Augusto Boal in the Brazil and transferred to Afghanistan by Mr. Hjalmar then were Afghanized by AHRDO Teem, is the best methodology for encouraging and involving the ordinary people to take part in
finding the crises and solve by own selves actively.

Right now we are using three methodologies in Afghanistan:

• Theatre of the Oppressed (TO) for the empowerment of war victims, widows and ordinary people.

We facilitate 6 full days TO training workshop, that generally every workshop and specifically every day should have start, middle and end.

In the event we play many kinds of Games and exercise, such as introduction, Warm up, trust building, improvisational Games, Image theatre and after every two games we do discussion among the group to share their ideas, interpret the images and tell there unshared histories.

Whenever after telling their tragedian history the trainee feel impacted, we do the TTT for refreshing and therapy. At the end of workshop, we ask the participant to make a play best on the history of all groups, just we support them artistically, after that we organize a bigger event, perform to others and ask them to find the solution and take practical part for solving the solutions on the stage.

• Playback Theatre (PT) which was found by Jonathan Fox in NY and transferred by Mr. Hjalmar to Afghanistan

We use this methodology for therapy and documentation. We facilitate a half day performance that ask the widows and war victims, to share us their histories, then to respect and empathize them, we turn it to art and perform back to them as a small gift.

• Memory Box, which was combined with the aesthetic of the oppressed by Mr. Hjalmar.

Usually we organize four full days training workshop for war victims. In the workshop we facilitate introduction, improvisational and trust building  games and exercise that everyone can trust and share their painful history to the group. Later they bring from five to ten instruments which are connected to their personal lives. At the end of the workshop the out pot would be exhibited to other group by everyone as festival.

Trauma Tapper, Shiatsu Therapist, Founder of PHN

In 2006, after having finished the training in the method called Thought Field Therapy (TFT) I contacted Dr Carl Johnson who is a professor of psychology and trauma expert using Energy Psychology in the US for over 30 years. He had also been in Kosovo after the war teaching and treating people with tapping protocols.

Together we went to Rwanda and Burundi, and today the Trauma Tapping Technique, TTT, derives from these experiences. Inspired by the results we, together with colleagues in Sweden and Rwanda, founded Peaceful Heart Network. Our main aim is to empower survivors of war and genocide by teaching and spreading this powerful, yet simple treatment to heal the memories of the past.

Don’t hesitate to contact me – I travel worldwide teaching and sharing our experiences of working with, teaching and spreading Trauma Tapping Technique.

STOCKHOLM: Trauma Tapper, Hypnotist, NLP Practitioner, Hypnobirthing Teacher, Havening Trainer, Master Trainer International Hypnotists Guild, Licensed Mental Trainer, co-founder of Peaceful Heart Network

At a point in my therapeutic and coaching practice I ran into situations where the  language dependency became a challenge in treating anxiety and phobias. This is how I found Gunilla, Robert and Trauma Tapping and I am since then (2010) actively engaged in the activities of Peaceful Heart Network in Rwanda. I work extensively with Hypnosis and mind strategies, integrating both TTT and TAT in a lot of cases, and I find the combination extremely versatile and gentle.

I believe in spreading the technique through movies, images, paintings and storytelling. I am currently filming the activities with the goal of creating as many useful film clips as possible available here.

I practice mainly in Stockholm where I run a Trauma Tapping Centre you may visit. I work with anxiety, phobias, self-esteem, reframing, power of inspiration, group dynamics, hypnobirthing and life compass motivational techniques. Don’t hesitate to call or mail.

KIGALI: Trauma Counsultant and Certified Trauma Tapper

Mukamurigo Veneranda was one of the first to get training in TTT by Dr Carl Johnson and Gunilla Hamne in 2007 in Kigali, Rwanda. She is now finishing her studies at the University of Hotel and Tourism. Being an orphan of the genocide in Rwanda 1994 she knows very well what trauma is and how the TTT can help to get out of the psychological problems that often follow such experiences.

” Without TTT I don´t know if I would be alive today”, she says.  From that insight she helps others who have gone through similar things in life by treating with and teaching TTT.

“This method is very good because you can help also those who have a lot of problems but do not want to talk about it.”
